Town Hall Co-Hosting & Civic Partnerships

Town Hall Co-Hosting & Civic Partnerships turn ordinary meetings into meaningful, two‑way conversations about how the local court serves the community. We partner with civic clubs, neighborhood associations, veterans' groups, faith communities, and nonprofit organizations to design open forums where residents can learn about Magistrate Court responsibilities, ask candid questions, and share their concerns about court access, delays, and fairness.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
In these events, we work side by side with your leadership team to choose topics that fit your members-landlord-tenant issues, small claims, warrant procedures, or communication between the court, law enforcement, and the public. We provide a clear, brief overview at the start, then reserve most of the time for moderated Q&A, so residents can speak directly to the issues that affect their families and businesses.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Our decades of service-from the U.S. Army Military Police Corps through local and federal roles, and on to academic leadership in public safety education-mean your members are hearing from someone who understands both the law and the human impact of every decision. That perspective allows us to explain what can be improved through better processes, respectful courtroom conduct, and consistent application of the law.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Forums can be held in community halls, sanctuaries, school auditoriums, or streamed online to reach those who cannot attend in person. We assist with promotion language, agenda planning, and simple ground rules that keep the discussion civil, inclusive, and focused.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
By co‑hosting these town halls, your organization helps strengthen trust between residents and the justice system, ensuring that the future Chief Magistrate Judge remains fully aware of the real-world concerns behind every case file and docket number.
